Cyclone Mora, category 1 hurricane, has left at least five people dead so far. Hundreds of homes have been damaged. Over a million people were evacuated before Mora made landfall. 500 cyclone shelters are housing many of those left displaced by the storm and authorities are urging those still remaining in areas at risk to move to safety. Mora made landfall in Chittagong district, and the port of Cox's Bazaar has been badly affected by the storm. The full scale of the disaster is not yet known, but Mora is expected to move inland bringing further rain until it weakens and dissipates.
