Tropical Cyclone Enawo is currently approaching Madagascar. The Category 1 storm may bring widespread flooding to the island and forecasts suggest it may intensify to a Category 3 storm before it makes landfall on 7 March. It is expected that storm surges with waves as high as 5 meters may occur and Enawo is forecast to move south across the island.
