Woolpert, a pioneer in aerial photography and geospatial services, is partnering with us in a multi-year commercial agreement to develop new offerings that leverage Planet Labs’ frequently refreshed, global satellite imagery.
As an early partner, Woolpert will be one of the first of a small group to access our data this year, and we’re excited to see what they do with it. This partnership will make geospatial products more accessible to a broader customer base, which is core to our mission.
“We are thrilled to work with Planet Labs’ imagery data,” said Jeff Lovin, Director of Geospatial Services at Woolpert. “Planet Labs’ ability to image the planet on a frequent basis is unprecedented, and our team at Woolpert is excited to use this unique data to develop new products and services for our geospatial customers.”
Woolpert supports customers in planning, developing and executing projects that range from post-disaster recovery to renewable energy project design to greenfield developments. Up-to-date satellite imagery data is key to ensuring customer success by validating on-the-ground conditions and informing designs.
The Planet Labs and Woolpert partnership represents an evolution in capability, with readily accessible, current data. If you are interested in learning more, please visit our image gallery or email us.
