NewsAdvancing peace and security has been core to Planet’s purpose since day one. Planet’s public benefit purpose states that we aim to accelerate humanity toward a more sustainable, secure, and prosperous world. In today’s complex geopolitical landscape, fulfilling that mission means ensuring that decision makers in governments and defense and intelligence agencies have the agile, cutting edge, and sovereign space capabilities they need to maintain national, regional, and global security.
With over a decade of partnership with global defense and intelligence partners - including within the U.S. government, NATO, and other allied nations - Planet understands the critical role and value of space-based information and insights. To continue and expand this important work, Planet has formed its Defense and Intelligence (D&I) Advisory Board. This group of distinguished leaders brings deep experience from the highest levels of the U.S. government and international alliances, and will serve as a critical guide as we continue to grow and expand our solutions and offerings for the national security and intelligence communities.
