Meet Planet at DGI 2019

Stories

The Planet Team is heading to DGI, the premier annual meeting for geospatial intelligence experts in Europe, to join 650+ industry leaders from around the world. At the meeting, attendees will discuss how to best respond to new policy developments and breakthroughs in technology. We’re looking forward to collaborating with commercial and government representatives to discover new ways to collect, integrate, manage, analyze, and share geospatial data in an increasingly complex environment.

Planet’s Keith Barber, Vice President of Federal Strategic Partnerships, will join Colonel Orest Babij, Steve Pyatt, and Mark Munsell on a panel to discuss how ongoing and future operations will be shaped by unprecedented access to high quality geospatial intelligence. The panelists will explore opportunities for big data to impact geospatial intelligence capabilities in the future, and how well the defense intelligence community is addressing the data challenge.

DGI is centered around cooperation and aims to maximize the use of the revolutionary data available today. As the operators of the largest satellite constellation collecting an unprecedented amount of data, Planet is looking forward to participating in the conversation.

Planet will be hosting a booth at the conference and we hope you take the chance to stop by and speak with a member of our team. Please reach out to DGI2019@Planet.com if you would like to meet directly with our team during the event. We look forward to seeing you there!
