Project Centinela provides imagery and analytics for teams working on vulnerable, high-biodiversity sites around the world. In the form below, we are looking for a brief description of who, what, and why. Applicants must demonstrate that sites meet the following criteria:

• Assessed as high conservation value using a recognized approach
• Located in an area with high risk to biodiversity
• Delineated at the landscape or seascape scale (<15,000 sq km)

We are focusing on applicants where we can augment ongoing on-the-ground conservation efforts to have tangible impacts. We are looking for partner teams with:

• Biodiversity expertise
• Demonstrated experience with remote sensing
• Long-term stake in the site identified

We’re prioritizing habitats and ecosystems that face high rates of degradation and have received comparatively less attention and investment from conservation organizations and investors. This includes aquatic ecosystems, grasslands and savannas, and coastal ecosystems.
