Facilitating Hungary's Satellite Constellation  Service

Planet is currently working with both the Ministry for Innovation and Technology and the Lechner Non-profit Ltd. to launch an earth observation data service for the Hungarian government. This high-impact program will provide Planet data to government institutions, publicly-funded universities and research institutions, as well as to start-ups for pre-commercial development. Planet data can play a pivotal role in assisting the Hungarian government in achieving its Sustainable Development Goals and enhancing national security. This data can aid in monitoring land use changes, tracking deforastation, and enhancing disaster preparedness and response. Continuous monitoring capabilities also enhance border and infrastructure security, allowing the government to respond proactively to emerging challenges. The integration of Planet data into governmental decision-making processes can foster a more resilient and secure future for Hungary, whil also helping the country to achieve its Sustainable Development Goals.
HIGH-FREQUENCY, COUNTRYWIDE DATA

Planet can provide countrywide, intradaily coverage, which can reduce the need for aircraft or individual resources.

SCALABLE

Planet’s cloud-first APIs allow you to build applications quickly that scale across Hungary's various departments.

EASE OF USE

View and download imagery directly in your browser, or integrate with your existing GIS tools.

Opportunity to launch a high-impact program to provide an Earth Observation data service to Hungarian governments and related institutions. publicly-funded Universities and Research  Institutes.

Unlock the power of Earth Observation (EO) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) combined to fast-track the digital transformation of services to solve regional and country-wide challenges as well as to drive global investment into Hungary. The areas of Big Data and AI are already seeing huge economic growth - and space is providing transformative new datasets to help power this. AI requires a massive scale of data to learn and provide the accuracy required for decision-making processes. The potential of AI applied to big data is currently untapped, with significant opportunities to develop downstream space applications that will create new commercial opportunities (jobs and services) which will also contribute to Kazakhstan's ambitions for digitalization.

Food Security
